Our investment focus is on established and growing companies with unique positioning in their respective markets, track-record of innovation and outstanding management teams or entrepreneurs. Based on many years of experience we identify and develop the most promising opportunities in private markets and real asset investments. Investment strategy

Cronos is an active investor in Private Companies, Venture Capital, Real Assets and non-performing loans. We seek to get involved in investments with a unique potential for growth and we make long-term sustainability happen. Our approach is built on long-term partnerships with selected management teams or entrepreneurs and the continuous exchange of experience, networks and insights. We leverage relevant expertise across our growing portfolio.

Target markets

Cronos is actively evaluating investment opportunities in the following target markets :

Private Companies and Venture Capital

Cronos main focus is on direct investments in privately held companies in growth industries equipped with unique positioning and innovation capacity. Pre-conditions are either established companies with strong management teams or entrepreneurial undertakings. We prefer to invest through at least a qualifying minority to realise our active value-add in the long-term strategic development of a company. Our main focus is on companies based in European countries.

Real Assets

Cronos engagement in Real Assets is either with an opportunistic financial objective, in particular for real estate, or for the purpose of strategic support for KGAL Group, where we are anchor shareholder. For infrastructure and aircraft investments we currently limit opportunities to co-investments with KGAL Group to accelerate the development of its underlying investment fund business.

Real Estate : focus selected locations in Europe with value creation opportunities.

Infrastructure : focus on renewable energy projects in European countries across technologies and life cycles.

Aircraft : limited focus on opportunistic aircraft operating leasing transactions.

Non-performing loans

Cronos has unique expertise and network in private and public non-performing loan transactions. The focus is to generate value through legal strategies tailor made for each individual case.
